Elinor's website is http://www.smoothsale.net/
Published by Sourcebooks, Elinor's book is a corporate tell-all about her corporate sales experience and lessons learned along the way. From the beginning and against all odds, she became the top producer by the 4th month of selling and retained that title throughout her career. She began selling an unknown brand of copier door to door facing hostile management trying to toss her out - but she refused to go!
Eventually she made it to high tech where it was so unethical that she quit and said "never again". The book was featured in TIME Magazine business supplement, translated into several languages and sells worldwide. Many thousands of copies have sold.
Today Elinor heads up Smooth Sale, which is a sales training company offering training, coaching, motivational speaking and a complete product line among the major services. Their uniqueness is that 3 skill-sets are combined for a holistic approach to business: sales, entrepreneurial (creative side) and marketing-communications (how you approach others in all modes of communication). The end result is a returning and referring clientele.
